I'm Cephas, founder of FOMO — a media and event company with over 20K weekly readers, making us the go-to place to connect with Berlin and Munich's business and tech scene. Our mission? Connecting amazing people and creating unforgettable experiences.

They say Cape Town is the place where a day feels like a week, a week like a month, and a month like a year. Anyone who's spent a season there knows it's true — and it's exactly why the people you meet in the first 48 hours end up shaping your whole summer.
That's what the group is for.
Last season 450+ of us were in there together, and it ran on autopilot in the best way: gatherings and spontaneous meet-ups, apartments and roomies found, travel partners for the Garden Route and Namibia, restaurant recommendations that actually held up, and networking that turned into real work and real friendships. Twice a week we curated the events worth knowing about, so nobody had to figure out what was on from scratch.
Most of all, it's how you land in a new city with safety, trust, and people around you from day one.
And for next season we aim to improve the experience even more.

This ensures only the real Cape Town crew joins (not just those catching FOMO from afar 😉), while giving us the resources to keep the vibe high and the experience next-level.
