Forward Deployed Eng: Building with Customers

​What does a forward-deployed engineer actually do? Join Give(a)Go for an evening with engineers working directly with customers to build and ship software.

​Our panel will share what the role looks like day to day, how they work across engineering and customer teams, and stories from projects that took unexpected turns. We’ll talk about getting from a customer’s problem to something that works in production, the decisions along the way, and what they learned.

​If you’re a founder figuring out whether you need forward-deployed engineers, come hear how the role works in practice. If you’re already an FDE at a startup or a larger tech company, come meet others doing the job, compare experiences and learn from one another. Engineers curious about moving into the role are welcome too.
