Inner Seasons: Movement, Meditation, and Living Tea
Who do we become when we attune ourselves to the rhythms of the natural world?
Join movement and contemplative teacher Tiffany Curtis and tea practitioner Eszter Tóth for an intimate community gathering honoring the Lunar New Year through the wisdom of the elements.
We will begin with guided Makkō-hō, a meditative movement practice rooted in Japanese meridian stretches, to gently awaken the body. From there, we will transition into a shared tea practice, taking time to sit in sacred silence together. The evening will unfold in a nourishing rhythm of movement, rest, and story-sharing, to deepen a sense of connection within ourselves and with one another. To prepare:
Wear:
Comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement and rest. All ages welcome, no prior experience necessary.
Bring:
A journal and pen for reflection.
The Altar:
Please bring a small object of personal significance to place on our communal altar. All items will be returned to you at the close of the gathering.
