AImful Volunteer Meetup August 2026

​Join us as we kick off the autumn semester! Whether you've joined us before or you're just AI-curious and new around our volunteer events, come spend a friendly evening with people who find our topic - AI on Human Terms - as inspiring as you do.

During this session, we will introduce our new Operational Core Team (OCT) framework, designed to give volunteers recognized leadership titles for professional portfolios, clear time-bound commitments, and board support to run impactful initiatives around responsible AI and equality.

​What to expect:

• ​Introduction: A friendly intro round and a light warm-up

• ​Semester Vision: A quick update on our goals and what's ahead this autumn

• ​Operational Core Team: How our volunteer coordination and topic-based Chapters work

• ​Interactive Co-Creation: Small-group brainstorming on to map out concrete autumn activities.

• ​Next Steps: Defining practical roles, action items, and open volunteer opportunities

• ​Registration Deadline: Monday, August 24stth

• ​Accessibility: The building features a wheelchair-accessible entrance

• ​Equipment needed: Please bring your laptop if possible, we will have and use also post-it notes, but final presentation will be digital

• ​Refreshments: Please note that food and drinks will not be provided at this event, but feel free to bring your own water bottle or light snacks!

​Building genuine momentum and community connections is central to this kickoff, so in-person attendance is our primary format.
