The Lab: Lecture – Explained: Swedish Culture Policy

​How does the current Swedish cultural policy affect individuals in the cultural sector and creative fields? How can we navigate the Swedish cultural landscape? Who is responsible for the financing of culture, and where are the jobs and assignments located? This lecture is filled with knowledge and insights that you didn't know you needed to know until you do.

​By the end of this lecture you will know:
- The political strategy for culture development in Sweden
- How the culture budget is distributed and by whom
- Why it's good to have an understanding of cultural policy as a professional cultural worker

The speaker is Pratik Vithlani, who works as an organizational developer at Riksteatern in Stockholm and has extensive experience in cultural management, strategy, and politics.
