EF x Stripe: Off The Wall

​What is Off The Wall?

​Entrepreneurs First and Stripe are bringing together some of the sharpest technical people we’ve met, or are yet to meet, for an afternoon of friendly padel.

​Who is it for?

​You're competitive, both on and off the court. Whether it’s hackathons, in academics or in your job. Padel experience isn't necessary, but an attitude of winning is welcome.

​What's the format?

​Twelve people selected to participate. Two courts. 90 mins.

​A round-robin of play and conversation. By the end, you'll have shared a court with everyone. Whatever starts on court carries on over drinks afterwards.

​Why padel?

​Often technical people get together to build. We want to switch it up. Sport brings out the best (or maybe the worst) in people - a social, competitive setting where you find out pretty quickly how someone handles pressure. Padel is played in pairs, so you'll be relying on someone you've only just met to win.

​It's quick to pick up, so don't worry if you've never played.

​What do you need to know?

​Arrive at 14:15. Play starts at 14:30, and drinks wrap up around 17:00.

​Racquets and balls are provided. Wear sportswear and trainers.
