Eco-Book Group: What If We Get It Right?
This will be a special session of Eco-Book Group in collaboration with the Michigan Climate Action Network (MiCAN).
In this virtual session, we will discuss What If We Get It Right? Visions of Climate Futures, by Ayana Elizbaeth Johnson.
A Smithsonion Best Book of the Year, this provocative and joyous book maps an inspiring landscape of possible climate futures through diverse guests and their visions for a better future world. It is an anthology of essays, interviews, and art. A two-time past Eco-Book Group read, it deserves new (& re-) readers. One note: this book is ripe for picking sections of special interest, but it is not a short book, so start reading early!
This free event is open to anyone who resonates with these themes. Expect a facilitated discussion, with some guiding prompts for sharing. You do not need to complete the entire book to join the discussion.
Note: the audiobook version is one recommended way to take in this book, since much of the book is interview-based.
