About Event

Join the MIT Climate Project to explore MIT's unique approach to experiential learning – one which emphasizes participatory design, disciplined entrepreneurship, and systems thinking.

First, hear lightning talks from program leaders and student changemakers on the climate research and social impact ventures borne from the MIT innovation ecosystem.

Next, join the conversation! Choose a roundtable discussing the cross-cutting questions facing climate educators, administrators, entrepreneurs, and community partners.

Finally, network with speakers, students, alumni, partners, and funders invested in cultivating the next generation of climate leaders and innovators.

Speakers include:

  • Lauren Tyger, Associate Dean for Social Innovation, MIT Priscilla King Gray Center for Social Impact

  • Adeposi Adeogun, MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning

  • Audrey Parker, MIT Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering


Location: Chelsea/Meatpacking District. Exact address provided upon RSVP approval.

Schedule: Lightning talks and roundtable discussions from 3-4pm, with time for networking following the event from 4-4:30pm.

A confirmed ticket is required for entry. No walk-ins or unregistered guests will be accommodated.
