EUDIW Unfold #4.1 - Interop Week Session
As the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW) ecosystem continues to move towards deployment, interoperability testing remains a key step in validating implementations, identifying practical challenges, and supporting the emergence of a connected European wallet ecosystem.
This online Interop Week, organised in continuity with the EUDIW Unfold initiative, will bring together wallet providers, issuers, verifiers, relying parties, and other ecosystem stakeholders to collaboratively test interoperability across different implementations and environments.
Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to run practical interoperability tests, exchange feedback, compare implementation approaches, and identify potential technical and integration challenges.
The testing scenarios and use cases are currently being finalised and will be communicated to participants ahead of the event. The Interop Week is designed to provide a hands-on environment where participants can test their implementations, learn from each other's experiences, and contribute to improving interoperability across the EUDIW ecosystem.
A dedicated in-person proximity testing and kick-off day will also take place on Monday, September 21, bringing participants together to conduct face-to-face and device-to-device testing in real conditions.
Beyond the technical testing itself, the Interop Week is intended as a collaborative space for the ecosystem, encouraging open discussions, feedback sharing, and alignment between the different stakeholders involved in the implementation of European Digital Identity Wallets.
