Artist Showcase: Whispering Wood Designs

Longtime friends of the grain, Cindy Petersen and Patty Mitchell spent decades as educators. Cindy retired as a university professor and Patty as a school principal. They started “Whispering Wood Designs,” where custom, restored, and repurposed pieces are crafted by listening to the story from the wood. Come celebrate their work at The Carpenter’s House this November 20th from 5:30-8:30pm and see why they say, “Our unique products show that trees may grow old, but their wood retains great elegance.”
