​​Once a month, InnerMost hosts the InnerMost Mixer—an intimate gathering for therapists, psychiatrists, researchers, and medical professionals to connect, learn, and grow in community. Designed as a space for cross-disciplinary dialogue, the InnerMost Mixer welcomes those practicing or simply curious about psychedelic-assisted therapy and integrative mental health.

​​Each event offers an opportunity to engage with the evolving landscape of psychedelic therapy, exchange insights with innovators in the field, and nurture meaningful professional relationships. You’ll leave each evening with renewed energy, fresh perspectives, and a deeper sense of belonging within this growing movement.

This month, we’re honored to welcome Alex Camargo, PsyD, a New York–based psychologist whose work sits at the intersection of psychedelic therapy, psychodynamic practice, and attachment-based care. In his private practice, Alex provides ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and supports clients through psychedelic harm reduction and integration.

Alex is a lead therapist, consultant, trainer, and mentor on multiple FDA-approved studies investigating psilocybin-assisted therapy, and he serves as a Lead Session Monitor on trials exploring LSD for Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. He has trained three cohorts of facilitators for Oregon’s psilocybin licensing program, and is a trainer for Colorado’s state psilocybin facilitator licensing program.

Rooted in years of clinical work in low-fee clinics and hospitals across the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Nassau County, Alex brings a deep commitment to accessibility, clinical rigor, and the thoughtful evolution of psychedelic-assisted care.
