World Building at Hollywood Scale with Christian Scheurer, Concept Artist
Every iconic world begins with a sketch. For thirty years, concept artist Christian Scheurer has helped shape the visual language of blockbusters including The Matrix, The Fifth Element, Dune, Superman, John Wick, and Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as theme parks and video games.
In this session, Christian takes us behind the scenes of three decades of production art, sharing early sketches, visual development work, and stories from the drawing board. He reveals the creative process, craft, and problem-solving behind bringing extraordinary imaginary worlds to life.
