About Event

Improv, sound and mindfulness is an experiential workshop to discover life as a living, breathing meditation. We’ll leverage improv comedy games, soundscapes, and our own expression to create an environment of play. We’ll explore the concept of “yes, and…” in concert with principles of mindfulness and musicality to inspire creativity. You’ll walk away with principles to integrate into daily living. And of course, we’ll be ridiculously silly and have lots of fun in the process.

There is no improv or music experience necessary. A beginner’s mind and an openness to exploring will be helpful.

TICKET PRICE INCLUDES FREE DRINK VOUCHER

Adam and Grahame

Adam is a student of the nervous system, sound meditation facilitator, functional nutrition coach, and creative experimentalist. His work lives at the intersection of embodiment, creativity, and curiosity.

With extensive training in improv comedy, Adam is especially drawn to the ways storytelling, humor, and presence reshape how we experience ourselves and the world. He’s endlessly curious about the narratives we inhabit and the many doorways (breath, sound, movement, and imagination) through which we can access the body’s innate intelligence.

Grahame's facilitation draws from his studies in health, movement, and creative improvisation. For the past decade, he’s worked as a personal trainer helping people build physical strength, eventually realizing that a vital piece of health was missing: creation.

That curiosity led him to Chicago, where he completed a six-week improv intensive at iO Theater, the birthplace of legends like Chris Farley. With a background in competitive soccer through university and a transition into strength training in 2017, Grahame's work continues to evolve toward exploring new ways of moving, expressing, and creating.

When he's not training or performing, he can usually be found experimenting with movement or making music.
