Automation Hero is a six-hour, beginner-friendly hackathon where you’ll learn the basics of automation, team up with other builders, and turn an idea into a working project.
New to automation? We’ll start with a guided introduction so you have somewhere to begin. Already have experience? Bring an idea and take it further.

What’s happening?
A practical introduction to automation and building workflows
Team formation and a hands-on building challenge
Time to build, troubleshoot, and improve your project
Lunch and a networking break to meet fellow builders
Project demos and goodies for the winning teams
What can you build?
Think automated reminders, reporting tools, AI-assisted workflows, or a system that connects your favourite apps. Pick a real problem and build something useful around it.
Who can join?
Students, developers, working professionals, and curious beginners are welcome. You don’t need previous hackathon experience.
Come with a team of 3–4, or register solo and meet teammates at the event.
What should you bring?
Your laptop, charger, and a willingness to try things. Plan to stay for the full event so you can build with your team and present your project.
