Nature Hawker Club
Nature Hawker Club
Nature finance, and mid-week conference revival — an informal Lau Pa Sat gathering for Ecosperity Week attendees.
By Tuesday night, we’ll be halfway through Ecosperity Week — two days down, two to go — and about 1,322 days from 2030.
Which is both inspiring and mildly alarming.
So yes, we should absolutely keep attending panels.
But we should also probably have a drink and talk honestly about what is actually going to move the needle on the large gap between ambition and reality of 2030 nature goals:
Who is funding restoration before revenue exists?
Who is actually ready to pay for biodiversity outcomes?
How do we get capital to communities and landscapes before 2030 becomes a post-mortem?
Nature Hawker Club is for the people who are working on, funding, buying, building, debating, or quietly trying to understand the fast-moving world of biodiversity credits, carbon credits, nature markets, conservation finance, and nature-based solutions.
Let's keep the conversation going after the conference lights come down — over satay, drinks, and possibly a few unfiltered opinions about nature.
No panels.
No presentations.
No lanyards required.
Who should come?
Ecosperity Week attendees
Biodiversity credit builders, buyers, and skeptics
Nature finance and conservation finance people
Carbon market practitioners expanding into nature
Project developers and restoration operators
Investors, corporates, philanthropies, NGOs, and policymakers
MRV, data, AI, and monitoring folks
Anyone who believes the best conference conversations happen after the badge comes off
Host note
Hosted by Lee Pearson / Wovoka as an informal community gathering.
This is not an official Ecosperity, Temasek, WWF, Hatch Blue, or EDB event — just a casual meet-up for people in Singapore who want to connect around biodiversity credits, nature finance, restoration, and nature-based solutions.
