Hey y'all,
Curiosity is my second nature! I live and breathe emotion so I’m always on the hunt for good old MAGIC. There’s the expression in my native language Polish that perfectly summarizes the kind of magic I’m talking about - porusza ducha. In rough translation, anything that moves the spirit, and stirs up the feeling.
I love telling stories of the mundane because they often treasure the kind of feeling that all of us can resonate with. I, too, with Yeats wait for our senses to grow sharper to see the hidden beauty in everything that surrounds us.
This crew is about exploring new ideas, perspectives, and the world around us. Bring topics, questions, or curiosities that stir your spirit for group discussion and exploration.
Rough agenda
Purpose: To uncover and appreciate the magic in the everyday moments of life.
Structure:
Weekly Theme: Each week, everyone selects a theme or an ordinary experience (e.g., “morning routines,” “the sounds of the city,” “a walk in the park”) that stirred something in them and made their day.
Story Sharing: Everyone shares personal stories, poems, or reflections that capture the hidden beauty or emotion in these experiences. Bring your writing excerpt, art, or soundscape that evoked emotion.
Group Reflection: Closing thoughts. Journaling for further reflection.
