Philly Builds AI Founder Series: From Philly Startup to Global Innovator - What Founders Can Learn from SEI
What does it take to build a technology company in Philadelphia that can scale globally—and continue innovating decades later?
In this Philly Builds AI Founder Series conversation, Allie Carey of SEI will share the story of SEI’s origins as a Philadelphia-area startup and how the company has evolved while maintaining a culture of innovation. We’ll explore how SEI continues to identify and adopt new technologies, how a large enterprise creates space for experimentation and new ideas, and what it takes to keep innovating as a company grows.
We’ll also look at SEI’s relationship with today’s startup ecosystem: where startups can create value for established companies, how SEI engages with emerging technologies and founders, and what founders should understand when approaching a company like SEI.
This is a candid conversation about building, scaling, innovating—and the opportunity for Philadelphia founders to build companies that matter well beyond the region.
