​Ramón Vélez is a broadcast operations executive and filmmaker who has spent more than twenty years behind the scenes of live television, helping bring complex productions to life. Now entering a new creative chapter, he is developing original film and television projects that explore family, legacy, and the moments just before transformation becomes unavoidable.

​Drawing on decades of production experience, Ramón bridges the worlds of technology and storytelling, mentoring emerging filmmakers while building projects through his production company.

​Story Lab begins as a weekly (every Wednesday at 7 pm est via Skool or Zoom) virtual gathering for individuals working to bring new projects to the screen (film/tv, streaming, podcast, and socials).

​Then, we take it to another level via our monthly IRL gatherings at Planet X Studios in Brooklyn, bringing together vetted filmmakers, music producers, content creators, and media professionals with the brands that are building the tools they use.
