Young Outliers #1
-> No crowd to hide in. No LinkedIn-contact collectors. No one here to pitch or sell something finished.
-> 24 and younger. Already building something real.
-> This is a curated space and every guest is hand-picked. Application only, no open sign-up.
=> A room full of people on the same wavelength! Young, hungry for life and career, genuinely ambitious.

Sometimes you have to create the space you're looking for yourself.
My name is Elise, and together with my boyfriend Leonard, I'm still fairly new to the founder scene. We're both currently working on our own projects and trying to build up a network.
Along the way, I noticed that it's becoming increasingly difficult to find a community that truly fits. Many spaces have such a low entry barrier that there's practically no filter, no threshold at all. As a result, there are so many people there who you'll never be in touch with again afterward, simply because the crowd is, overall, too unmanageable and unfiltered.
That's exactly what we wanted to change, to create an approach and try to build the community that was missing: through a curated group of similarly aged and similarly ambitious young people who are looking for exactly this kind of inspiring, meaningful environment.
We call it Young Outliers, because we're convinced that you have the potential to stand out from the crowd. And it's exactly for you that we want to create this space.
So don't expect a huge crowd of people who are just there to look around, or company representatives who leave the event with LinkedIn contacts. In rooms like that, you get lost and hide.
Our aim is rather to curate a small, hand picked group that's all on one level. One requirement for everyone: no older than 25, ambitious, and in the process of building something real, with the goal of growing through it and becoming successful.
Especially welcome are those who have taught themselves their skills or are currently doing so. That's what genuine willpower and real interest look like. Builders, nerds, and of course visionaries are welcome, and will find the peers who actually get it.
This is what the evening will look like:
First, there will be a short intro round, so you can immediately connect names and faces, and everyone gets to be heard once.
To connect the group and get people talking, we also want to host a quick show & tell round, in which anyone who feels like it presents, in about 5 minutes, what they're currently working on. This way you get to know each other much better and understand who's in the room. It's simply about giving the others a quick glimpse into what you're building and who you are. So feel very free to prepare a few slides, and go for it.
Besides the conversations, the evening will also include an open work session, so bring your laptop and whatever you're currently working on.
We're looking forward to having you!
