About Event

Future Arts is excited to participate in WALKDONTRUN, partnering with Benaroya Hall's beautiful, immersive Octave 9 space.

WALKDONTRUN is a community arts event on Saturday, Sept 19th that activates Seattle’s urban parks, sidewalks, plazas, and downtown storefronts with art, music, and performance along a 20-block route from Westlake Park to Occidental Square.

Drops of Hope will be an interactive audio installation playing within Octave 9 as part of Benaroya Hall, active 12:30-3:30

Part 1: Experience Hopes from around the world inside the venue
Part 2: Step into an interactive recording booth to meet the artist + add your own hope for our continuous audio "river stream"

As part of FUTURE ARTS WAY 2026, we are excited to welcome Alexis Eggertsen and Team's immersive audio installation called "DROPS OF HOPE"

About the Artwork:
Add your voice to a stream of hope from around the world. Hopes are anonymous. Every approved recording becomes part of a shared listening experience. These are hopes that we can walk with, on our one and only Mother Earth. It is about finding commonalities and walking together in a positive direction.

Your voices will be populating an art piece going up in Seattle during Summer 2026, as part of a city-wide mixed reality exhibition: Future Arts Way: Other Earth 2026.
