[Blockchain Use Cases] Funding Science Transparently: How the Longevity Science DAO Works
A workshop about real-world blockchain applications. No crypto knowledge required.
We built the DAO platform with the Longevity Science Foundation — donation flows, smart contracts, governance layer.
How it works
Donors contribute in crypto to LSF
The protocol converts contributions into LSF Points, weighted by donation size and timing
Points are non-transferable and give you Voting Power tokens in every voting round
Scientific projects apply with research proposals of research
Donors vote for the best proposals to allocate funding
Winning projects receive funding — and donors receive benefits in return
Every funding decision the Foundation makes is fully auditable applying the new blockchain programme, which guarantees transparency around LSF work.
