About Event

Co-hosted by Breakthrough and WilbeLABS, and hosted at IDEALondon, this practical workshop will help small teams choose the right AI tools for the way they work.

With new AI products appearing every week, it can be difficult to know what your team actually needs. Using familiar tasks such as drafting content, carrying out research, capturing meetings, answering customer questions and organising internal knowledge, we’ll explore:

  • The main types of AI tools available to small teams

  • Which tools are best suited to different tasks

  • When a general AI assistant is enough

  • When a specialist tool or automation is useful

  • How to avoid paying for overlapping tools your team will not use

  • How to build a simple, practical AI tool stack

We’ll cover how to assess tools based on your team’s needs, budget and existing ways of working, so you can make clearer decisions about what to introduce and why.

No technical background or existing AI strategy is required.

About Skills for Scale

Skills for Scale is a practical workshop series for founders and small teams.

Each session brings in experienced specialists to share useful, applicable knowledge on a specific part of building and growing an early-stage company.

About Breakthrough

Breakthrough is a values-driven social enterprise working to ensure the future of AI belongs to everyone, not just a small group of people.

Through inclusive training, skills bootcamps and tailored support, Breakthrough helps people develop the technical skills, confidence and critical understanding needed to participate in an AI-powered world.

Its approach places ethics, accessibility and community at the centre of AI education. Breakthrough has worked with organisations including the Department for Education, IBM, BT, the Ministry of Justice and the UN AI for Good Skills Coalition.
