As part of Lesbian Visibility Week, OutBritain and Lumiere London invite you to a powerful evening celebrating lesbian leadership, entrepreneurship, and visibility in business.
Hosted in the stunning Shoreditch Loft at Lumiere London, with drinks being provided by our corporate partner Diageo, this special event brings together an inspiring panel of trailblazing lesbian leaders who are shaping industries, building communities, and challenging the status quo.
The evening's panel discussion is being chaired by Annie Bartley, Founder and Creative Director of I Am Female*, The Queer-Led Brand Comms Agency.
Annie is a lesbian creative director, and design expert with nearly 20 years of experience working and consulting for brands including Unilever, BBC, and Royal Academy of Arts. Founding the queer-led brand comms agency, I Am Female* in 2021, Annie is fiercely determined to push the boundaries of innovative design and brand, changing the landscape of the creative industry to be more inclusive, diverse and representative of the world we live in.
Meet the Panellists
Anna Lawlor, Director, Head of Digital & Social at Greentarget, a specialist PR agency
Anna is a senior leader specialising in digital strategy, reputation risk and crisis preparedness for global, complex organisations. With an unconventional path from early school-leaver to Editorial Director at the Financial Times and founder of her own advisory agency, she brings a rare blend of analytical rigour, editorial authority and commercial acumen.
She has advised on major inflection points in digital risk, including the GME/Meme Stock crisis, and now focuses on how AI is reshaping corporate reputation. At Greentarget, she leads strategic digital advisory, helping regulated firms harness AI, digital and social channels while mitigating risk.
An award-winning journalist, Anna has written for leading UK broadsheets, contributed to The Economist, and is a regular speaker, chair and industry judge.
Laïla El-Métoui – award-winning Equity and Wellbeing Consultant and Founder and CEO of LEM Education, Pride in Education, and Educating Out Racism
Laïla is an award-winning Equity and Wellbeing Consultant, activist, and proud Arab lesbian with close to 40 years of experience across public and private sectors. Founder and CEO of LEM Education, Pride in Education, and Educating Out Racism, she has dedicated her career to building inclusive, equitable workplaces and communities where everyone is seen and valued. A UN Women UK CSW Participant since 2024, Laïla brings intersectional expertise and lived experience to everything she does, centring the voices of those most marginalised. Named Stonewall Lesbian Role Model of the Year in 2020, she is also featured in the 2025 Diva Power List, the Top 20 Lesbian Trailblazers, and has twice been nominated Trans Ally of the Year. Fluent in ten languages, Laïla delivers powerful, practical sessions that inspire people to take meaningful action and create lasting cultural change.
Tash Rebuck – Sales Expert & Founder of The Good Sales Company
Tash helps founders fall in love with sales. Sales has become a bit of a dirty word, but it is integral to every business.
With over a decade of B2B sales experience, Tash has worked with hundreds of companies looking to improve their sales in a positive way that fits their values. She is a speaker at the British Library, Somerset House, London School of Economics, the University of Greenwich and the University of Loughborough, delivering training and advice on how to increase revenue in the right way.
Together, the panel will share their personal journeys — the bold decisions, the wins, and the very real challenges that lesbian entrepreneurs and professionals continue to face today. From navigating leadership spaces to building inclusive businesses and creating opportunity for the next generation, this conversation is about visibility, resilience, and driving meaningful change.
