BETA PLAYTEST

It's late 2026. Two US labs are racing toward superintelligent AI. China is closing the gap with stolen model weights and state-backed compute. Regulators, journalists, and investors are scrambling to keep up. You have 5 rounds to shape how it ends. Takeoff Protocol is a multiplayer tabletop simulation based on the AI 2027 scenario.

8–14 players take on roles across four factions — OpenBrain (capabilities-first US lab), Prometheus (safety-first US lab), China (DeepCent + CCP), and External Stakeholders (NSA, press, VCs, diplomats) — and navigate an escalating AI crisis through a simulated desktop interface.

Each round, you'll scan Slack threads, news wires, intelligence briefs, Bloomberg tickers, and Signal DMs to piece together what's happening — then make decisions with incomplete information under time pressure. Information overload is the core mechanic: critical intel is buried in noise, and there's always more to read than time allows.

No AI background required. Just show up ready to make hard calls with imperfect information — and live with the consequences.

~2 hours. A laptop/tablet and wifi needed.
