LoveLetterTok: A Night of Queer Love, Art & Resistance
What began as a love letter to my human has grown into a love letter to an entire community.
www.lovelettertok.com began when my partner’s gender-affirming surgery being delayed following funding cuts in Québec. In the weeks that followed, love became frustration, frustration fueled my actions, and an intimate story became a Montréal-made campaign rooted in queer love, trans dignity and collective care.
On Thursday, August 6, we are bringing that love letter to life at LeNadia Bar during Pride in Montréal.
Join us for a beautiful evening created by queer Montréalers, for queer Montréalers.
A celebration of the artists, models, makers, activists and community members who remind us that joy itself can be an act of resistance.
The evening will feature:
The launch of our limited-edition Love Letter to K collection, created with queer and trans Montréal artists
A letter-writing station where you can share messages of love, solidarity and hope
Trans voices and stories from our community
Music, drinks, art, connection and the people who brought this campaign to life
Ways to learn, take action and stand alongside trans and gender-diverse communities in Québec
Proceeds from the tickets and merchandise will support work advancing access to gender-affirming care.
This is a party. This is a protest. This is a love letter.
Come dance with us. Write something tender. Wear something loud. Help us fill LeNadia with the kind of love that refuses to look away and the kind of joy no funding cut can take from us.
For K. For trans rights. For every person who deserves to receive the care they need, when they need it.
