The Coordination Problem
San Francisco has more AI meetups, hackathons, and community events than any other city. The tools exist. The people exist. The intention exists.
And the dominant experience is still: show up alone, recognize no one, have one good conversation, leave, never follow up.
The problem clearly isn't technical. So what is it?
The Coordination Problem puts builders and domain experts in the same room to figure out what's actually broken about getting people together IRL and build something that makes a dent in it.
The challenge
Two hours. Small teams. One question: what's the real bottleneck, and can you fix even a piece of it?
You might tackle:
Commitment - everyone RSVPs, nobody shows up
Discovery - how do you find the right 20 people for a room?
Follow-through - you met someone great—now what?
Something nobody's thought of yet
