Having 'retired' from his C-Suite role 18 months ago Ray is now on the boards of a Bank, a Building Society, a Friendly Society and is Treasurer and Trustee of the local branch of a global charity.
This session will be hosted as an informal, interview-style conversation with Ray, followed by a live Q&A. Expect honest insights, real-world lessons, and practical takeaways on how consistent effort, smart decision-making and resilience can help build a portfolio over time.
Ray brings a rare combination of executive and non-executive experience, having held board roles across 25+ UK and EU companies, and 30 UK FCA ‘Approved Person’ and SMF roles. He is also a Chartered Actuary, a former Council Member of the profession, and a past Vice President of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has also spent 16 years as a Trustee on charity boards and is passionate about helping organisations grow safely, with a strong focus on customers and innovation, including adopting AI to enhance client experience over the past four years.
