We will walk, occasionally feel annoyed that our past self thought not staying in bed was a good idea, we bitch about it, we bitch about other things that bother us, we breathe fresh air and calm down and see the water stream and smile, we share our hopes and dreams, then the conversation would take a sudden, dark turn towards AI overlords, and while we're lost in that imaginary future we realize that we are actually lost on the trail and have to retrace our steps to find the path again. It's a whole fucking journey, my friend! I'm telling ya...

Jay! President of Coulter Software in Belle River - we build AWS and AI systems for logistics, manufacturing, and transportation clients - AWS Select Partner working on Advanced - deep in the Bedrock and agent world for the past couple of years - I post the occasional thing on LinkedIn when I have something worth saying. Starting this because Windsor-Essex has way more AI-curious people than it has places for them to find each other. Also: motorcycles, trying to eat like an adult, planning trips I can't quite afford, and a firm belief that the best conversations happen sideways - while you're walking beside someone instead of sitting across from them.
And huge credit to Amir for the format and the welcome into the AI Hikes network — without him, this doesn't exist.

I can lie to you and say that we can figure it out, but in reality in most cases folks who arrived after we started walking weren't able to catch up. So, if you think you might miss the beginning, try to meet us at the restaurant.
