Back to Fortran Future III
Back to the Fortran Future 3 (BTTFF3) is the third in a series of Fortran-based workshops as satellite events at larger conferences in the UK. This time, we are delighted to partner with the Software Sustainability Institute's (SSI) Collaboration Workshop (CW), which will be held in Belfast from 28-30th April.
At BTTFF1 we identified community, training and tools as key themes for the Fortran community. At BTTFF2 we mainly focused on tools (Fortitude and FPM) and community initiatives (Fortran Index and the Fortran SIG). We also started to explore ways in which we can resource and coordinate these themes.
At BTTFF3, we will develop an initial roadmap for resourcing and coordination of community, training and tools. This might include "bigger picture", strategic items but also specific actions, including proposals for activities at the main SSI CW that follows the BTTFF3 event. Further details will be shared in due course.
Note: this is an in-person event only. You do not need to register for SSI CW to attend this event.
