Invitation only · Limited to 40 guests

Description

The CFO Executive Forum is taking the conversation onto the water.

Join a small group of venture and growth-stage finance leaders for an afternoon on San Francisco Bay. Four hours, forty people, one boat, and the kind of unhurried conversation that does not happen across a conference table. We sail past the skyline and under the bridges while the people who run finance for the Bay Area's most interesting companies trade notes on what is actually working right now.

This is a peer room first and an event second. No stage, no slides, no pitch. Just the right CFOs, a full bar, and time to talk.

Hosted by Open Future Forum with Janice Berthold of Heffernan Insurance Brokers as sponsor lead, alongside partners at First Citizens / SVB, Foley & Lardner, and Protiviti.

Who is in the room

Finance leaders from venture-backed and growth-stage companies, plus a handful of trusted advisors who serve them. Every seat is chosen so the conversation stays useful. If you lead finance at a company building something real, or you advise the people who do, you belong here.

What to expect

  • A four-hour sail on the Bay with food and a full bar, all covered

  • A capped group of 40 so you actually meet everyone

  • Open, off-the-record conversation among finance peers

  • Introductions handled for you, so you leave with relationships, not business cards

Good to know

  • Boarding is at Frankie's near Pier 40. Frankie's is usually open beforehand if you would like to grab a coffee or a drink before we board.

  • We leave the dock at 11:00 AM and return at 3:00 PM. The boat does not wait, so please plan to arrive by 10:30 AM.

  • Dress is smart and comfortable. Bring a layer; the Bay is cooler on the water than on shore.

  • Seats are limited and assigned by invitation. If you cannot make it after registering, please let us know so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.
