From Innovation to Venture: LMU Startup Readiness Sprint.
Are you a scientist, researcher, or advanced student considering applying to our next incubation cohort this autumn? Join our intensive one-day Pre-Incubation Sprint and find out whether your idea is startup-ready.
You will work hands-on on key startup topics such as user needs, problem-solution fit, market potential, business models, and pitching. Together with experienced Incubation coaches, venture consultants, and peers from different disciplines, you will turn early-stage ideas into structured venture concepts.
In addition, one of our advanced Incubator alumni teams will share insights into their own founder journey and lessons learned from building a startup.
The day will conclude with a final team pitch session. The two strongest teams will receive a wildcard invitation to join the LMU Innovation Incubator starting in October.
All faculties and disciplinary backgrounds are welcome.
To apply, ideally, you will…
bring your own research-based project, technology, commercialization case, or startup idea
apply as a team of at least two people with at least one member with LMU affiliation
be a Master’s student, PhD candidate, Postdoc, or Researcher
be curious about innovation, entrepreneurship, and real-world impact
