About the Session:

India’s demographic dividend hinges on whether its young people can convert years of schooling into meaningful livelihoods. Yet the transition from classroom to career remains one of the most fragile stretches of a young person’s journey.

Gaps in foundational learning, limited exposure to career pathways, and the absence of structured life-skills and mentoring support mean that millions of students, especially from under-resourced communities, fall through the cracks between education and employment.

This panel brings together three organisations working at different but complementary points along this pipeline to explore what it takes to make the school-to-work transition actually work.
