The Open Spoon
The Open Spoon is a new collaborative storytelling gathering for creative expression and connection in the community. Rather than a formal presentation, this is an intimate inspiration circle where individuals are invited to be participants, not just recipients.
For our first event, we'll explore the theme of belonging. For our first event, Liz Barney will kick things off with the story of the inspiration behind this gathering, and then open it up to community voices to share a story of a time they felt a sense of belonging, or not belonging, and also add their voices to share what you’d love to see in a community creation gathering. We'll meet in the café of Bamboo coworking at lunch time, so bring a bite to share, or your own lunch if you prefer to keep dietary needs separate. Coffee and tea is provided courtesy of Bamboo. Whether you prefer to quietly listen or openly share, your presence is welcome!
