Cyanotype Sun Prints
Join us in the studio for an afternoon of cyanotype. This season, we are exploring the world of sunlight printing using cyanotype!
Cyanotype is a sustainable printing method that captures images of 2D and 3D objects on paper using the sunlight. In this 2 hour print club, we will go over the basics of Cyanotype before leaving you to curate your prints using a plethora of sourced materials by us for you. Need to get the picture? Everyone will go home with up to 5 cyanotypes made by you, and the knowledge needed to create endless cyanotypes forever and ever. We will provide tons of multimedia materials to print with, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own from home. We suggest film strips, charms, lace, shells, dried flowers, or anything else that you just want to experiment with.
Beverages provided, and all clubs are beginner friendly <3

What can I expect from a club at RecCreate?
We design all of our clubs at RecCreate to feel like going over to a friends apartment for a craft hang where they took care of grabbing all the materials and show you the basics before the music starts bumping! Our emphasis is on process, play and community building, with conversation prompts throughout.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!
Please note! All events have a minimum capacity required to run in order to provide the best experience possible <3 Though it’s rare, on the off chance that this minimum is not met, we’ll reach out 48hrs prior about a reschedule or refund.

Though we do our best to keep all photography / video to a minimum, please note all guests who attend consent to being photographed and videoed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
