Civic Action Workshop with USD Kroc Social Action + Business For Good

​The gap between caring and acting can feel enormous. That's because nobody taught us where local decisions get made or how a regular person gets a word in. Join us to learn how you can make an impact on everyday issues that concern you!

​This hands-on lab teaches the actual mechanics: finding real openings to act on the issues you care about, giving public comment that lands, and reaching officials who have the influence you need. After our workshop, you'll leave having done one real thing — a letter sent, a comment drafted, a date on the calendar to speak.

​Led by students from USD's Kroc School of Peace Studies, in partnership with Business For Good San Diego. We'll work the Tijuana River crisis as our case, while building the skills to make an impact anywhere.
