About Event

What is it?

​Open Mic Night is a platform for local founders, researchers, technologists, and more to pitch companies, share ideas, and connect meaningfully with like-minded innovators. Enjoy free drinks, bites, and learn of organizations and resources that can move your ideas forward.

​How much?

​Open Mic Nights are a free opportunity to immerse youself in the local tech scene, put forth by TiE Pittsburgh (Technology & Innovation Entrepreneurs).

​Where at?

​Open Mic Nights rotate locations to highlight partners in Pittsburgh who are motivated to foster entrepreneurship through meaningful programming and public events. Join us this time at Carnegie Mellon's award-winning Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship!

Who gets to speak?

​Open Mic Night Spotlight Seats are reserved on a first come first serve basis, and are granted to local founders, researchers, journalists, and/or motivated speakers looking to present technology or startup adjacent pieces. Each presentation lasts from 2-10 minutes, including Q+A. Presentations run from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
