Let AI Attack Your App

Presented by Jake Miller (ZIVIS)

AI coding tools are changing more than how quickly engineers write code. They're changing system architecture: applications increasingly include models, agents, tools, prompts, external APIs, autonomous actions, and new paths for data to move across trust boundaries.

That makes traditional code review alone insufficient. Security scanners tell you what looks wrong. Threat modeling helps you understand what could go wrong, why it matters, and where to test for it. It turns security review from a bunch of findings into a structured analysis.

In the session, I'll walk through a practical approach to threat modeling AI-enabled applications. We'll look at how to identify components and trust boundaries, map attacker goals and potential attack paths and the new kill chains that AI is making possible.
