Black Men In Venture Networking Mixer
Black Men in Venture (BMV) is a Chicago-based community for Black men in and around venture capital. This is an informal gathering for Black men in Chicago who are building in and around the world of investing—venture capital, private markets, public markets, startups, and operating roles. It’s also open to anyone who is curious about or interested in entering the field.
While there are many organizations focused on diversity in the industry, this evening is meant to be something simpler and more personal. There will be no formal programming—just space for conversation, relationship-building, and shared perspective among Black men navigating this ecosystem in Chicago. The hope is simple: to know one another, support one another, and grow together.
Light refreshments and dinner will be provided.
