​Canopy Campfire: How Is AI Changing Your Life?

​AI is changing how we work, create, communicate, learn and make decisions.

​But is it changing our lives for the better? For sure there is good, bad and at sometimes ugly!

​Join us for the next Canopy Campfire, an open and participatory conversation exploring how AI is affecting our lives — positively, negatively and in ways we may not yet fully understand.

​This isn't a traditional panel discussion.

​Four chairs. Three experts. One empty seat.

​We'll begin with three invited experts taking their places around the Campfire. Each will share their perspective on how AI is affecting their work, their lives and the world around them.

​Then we open the conversation.

​There will always be four chairs but only three people sitting in them.

​If you're in the audience and have something to contribute, simply get up and take the empty chair.

​When you join the Campfire, one of the existing participants will return to the audience, creating another empty chair for someone else.

​Another person can then join. Someone else steps out.

​And the conversation keeps moving.

​No long speeches. No permanent panel. No division between the people with something to say and the people expected to listen.

​The rotation continues until we've exhausted the topic — or the hour is up!

​We all have something to learn. We all have something to share.

​AI is one of those subjects where nobody has all the answers.

​You might be building with AI every day. You might be experimenting with it occasionally. You might be excited by what's happening, deeply concerned about it, or somewhere in between.

​All of those perspectives belong around the Campfire.

​Come to listen, question, challenge and share your own experience.

​You don't need to be an AI expert to participate. The opportunity is there for everyone to take the fourth chair.

​The Canopy team first encountered this conversational format at Google and has since incorporated it into events in Portugal, the UK and the USA.

​We'll transcribe the conversation and publish a summary article afterwards on the Canopy blog, capturing the different perspectives, experiences and questions that emerge.
