About Katie Conlon
Katie Conlon is the Director and Founder of the Ecoseva Institute, an organization centering service for Earth - proactively engaging in environmental education and research through the spirit of revitalisation, regeneration and interconnection.
As National Geographic Explorer, she led the initiative “Himalayas to Sea: Plastic Free” - a multi-year effort documenting community-led responses to plastic pollution across the Himalayan region through a series of short films.
Her work centers on:
Building collaborative, cross-sector partnerships
Making scientific knowledge and wisdom accessible across audiences
Elevating community-led solutions and lived experience
