About Event

We are thrilled to welcome you to Ghana House New York 2025 on Monday!

As the ongoing geopolitical and trade shifts shake out, there will be "winners" and "losers" with far-reaching implications for the future of emerging economies. New alliances are forming, technology is shaping new possibilities and key economic players are asking critical questions about the future.

Ghana, in our view, has one of the best opportunities to be a winner in the West African region.

Schedule:

9:45am - Doors Open

10:10am - 10 Predictions in the Next 10 Years by Bright Simmons and discussion. We'll be unpacking 10 bold predictions covering the next 10 years of Ghana's story. We will cover everything from the macro, to business, energy, infrastructure, education, agriculture and art.

The session will feature one of the most rigorous political and economic analysts looking through the crystal ball to shape a vision of where we might land. We will also share a scorecard on how Ghana is doing on 10 big defining economic issues.

11:00am - Launch of Pivot 10/10 Initiative by Impact Hub Accra and partners. 10/10 is a bold alternative capital allocation and venture-building experiment covering 10 of the biggest challenges of our lifetime.

If you're working in Ghana, investing in Ghana, considering projects in Ghana or curious about which parts of the region to commit capital and talent, you want to be in the room for this session.

12:00pm - Lunch and GHPAC session. Ghana Diaspora Public Affairs Collective is a nonpartisan, nonprofit social welfare advocacy organization dedicated to working collectively as Ghanaians, people of Ghanaian descent and friends of Ghana to encourage civic engagement and advance policy through research, education, and community building – this is our mission.
