About Event

The current security paradigm in Web3 doesn’t work.

By the time you finish reading this, there is a good chance another Web3 protocol has fallen victim to an exploit, costing its users millions of dollars. The crypto market cap now exceeds that of Google and Amazon yet our security is still early-Internet.

We've come a long way, but Web3 cannot grow to mainstream adoption without buy-in from existing institutions. And the biggest barrier to institutional adoption is security. Web3 must not only meet, but exceed, standards that already exist and shed the perception of an ATM for black-hat hackers and state-based actors.

Current practices involving bug bounties and security audits are necessary but not enough on their own. Last year:
-$1B was spent on audits;
- $2B was lost in exploits;
- All victims had conducted one or more audits.

What's the missing piece? Real-time security that prevents breaches before they do any damage.

Join Gal Sagie, CEO of Hypernative in a roundtable with industry leaders from Quantstamp, zeroShadow, and Astar Network as they address the specific problems faced by Web3 projects and how they can be solved, including;

- How audits and onchain security tools complement each other;
- How the next generation of tooling can prevent exploits and mitigate risk;
- Best practices for responding to risks in real-time;
- And more.
