About Event

Blue Venture Community and Wiggin(x) are excited to host a panel on "Exit Waterfalls" with our friends from Interplay.

Event Details:
Join our panelists for an insightful discussion on exit waterfalls. A Q&A session will follow the panel. Hors d'oeuvre along with light alcohol will also be served.

After registering, please suggest questions that you'd like for our panelists to discuss. Possible topics include: How do liquidation preferences shape who actually benefits in an exit? What are the biggest misunderstandings founders have about waterfalls in M&A events? How do different exit sizes (small, medium, large) change the dynamics of who gets paid and when? What strategies can founders and boards use during fundraising to protect against being “washed out” in a sale? How should founders communicate waterfall outcomes to employees and early stakeholders when an exit is on the horizon?

Panelists include:
- Evan Kipperman: Partner at Wiggin and Dana specializing in corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing and securities law
- Phuong Ireland: Partner at Interplay leading their incubator
- Jack Sousa: Wiggin(x) co-founder and partner, co-chair of Wiggin’s ECVC and Cannabis practice groups, and a partner in the corporate department

Keynote from Chance Hart, President of Blue Venture Community.
