About Event

Artificial intelligence is on track to be the fastest-developing and most important technology the world has yet produced. Yet few of its effects are felt in Europe:

  • Companies might spend $1 trillion on data centers next year, equivalent to one percent of world GDP. But almost no large facilities are built on our continent.

  • Of the world’s best ten AI models, nine are American and one is Chinese.

  • European companies spend far less on AI than their American counterparts.

How could Europe catch up?

Join Works in Progress for a talk by editor Simon Grimm on how Europe can respond to AI in a way that provides both prosperity and security.

We will provide drinks and light food.
