Climate-Smart Agriculture in Action Tour
Come and see climate and nature positive initiatives in action at the Hawkesbury Campus of Western Sydney University.
You'll tour the University's farms and facilities and see firsthand how agricultural production and generating carbon and biodiversity benefits coexist and are happening on a large scale.
You'll also see EucFACE, the world's only Free Air Carbon Dioxide Enrichment experiment in a mature, warm temperate forest ecosystem. This is designed to predict the effects of rapidly rising atmospheric carbon dioxide on Australia’s unique native forests.
Join the tour to understand more about how agriculture and land are integral to managing climate change.
A bus will transport you around the site. Please wear covered shoes and bring a hat and insect repellent. View the Hawkesbury Campus map here to locate the meeting point and parking area.
