Ball of Wisdom: A Black Tie Leadership & Legacy Evening Presented by Mothers to Daughters (M2D)
Some rooms change you. This is one of them.
Marking M2D's first anniversary, the Ball of Wisdom is a Victorian-inspired, invitation-only soirée in New York City — held just days after Mother's Day — to honor legacy, leadership, and the women who shape what comes next.
This is not a traditional gala. It is a room where proximity is intentional, and every connection has the potential to extend far beyond the evening.
The Evening
Black Tie required. 150–200 carefully curated guests.
An elegant program designed with both ceremony and momentum:
A private cocktail reception among founders, executives, and investors
Seated dinner with keynote moments and curated programming
The Ball of Wisdom Awards — honoring women driving intergenerational impact
A silent auction featuring art, curated experiences, and collectible pieces
Cultural performances and mother–daughter storytelling
Thoughtfully facilitated introductions for meaningful, high-value connections
Who Will Be in the Room
Every guest is selected with intention — creating a room where proximity is currency and relationships become opportunity.
Founders & entrepreneurs · Investors & capital allocators · C-suite executives · Leaders across technology, fashion, media, and policy
"The vows we make to ourselves and to those we lead. The bows we offer in reverence to those who guided us."
Why This Matters
At Mothers to Daughters, we believe access changes trajectories.
The Ball of Wisdom is a fundraising evening supporting M2D's mission to advance women's economic empowerment through intergenerational mentorship, leadership development, and access to opportunity — with a commitment to supporting 100,000 women-led initiatives by 2035.
This is more than a moment. It is an investment in the ecosystems that shape what comes next.
Presented by Mothers to Daughters (M2D)
