About Event

Our Excel for Business Owners program helps aspiring entrepreneurs master both basic and advanced Excel to manage finances, analyze data, and make smarter business decisions with tools like ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot embedded in Excel.

Week 1 – June 22: Foundations & Financial Formulas

  • Set up spreadsheets with professional formatting

  • Apply SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX in business contexts (e.g., sales tracking, expense summaries)

Week 2 – June 29: Logical Functions & Decision-Making

  • Use IF functions for logical comparisons

  • Apply to business scenarios: pricing decisions, budgeting, and conditional reporting

Week 3 – July 6: Data Management & Analysis

  • Organize and analyze data with MULTIPLY, FILTER, SORT, and DATA VALIDATION

  • Create Named Ranges for efficiency

  • Practice with real-world business examples: client lists, sales data, reporting accuracy

Week 4 – July 13: Final Exam & Celebration

  • Apply all skills to a practical business scenario

  • Review and reinforce concepts learned in previous weeks

Excel Advanced

Week 5 – July 20: Organizing & Retrieving Business Data

  • Use XLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH for advanced data retrieval

  • Analyze business datasets efficiently

Week 6 – July 27: PivotTables & Interactive Dashboards

  • Create PivotTables for summarizing business data

  • Build interactive dashboards for reporting and decision-making

Week 7 – August 3: Efficiency & Automation

  • Apply Advanced Conditional Formatting and Macros to automate tasks

  • Streamline repetitive business operations

Week 8 – August 10: Final Exam & Celebration

  • Demonstrate mastery through a real-world business dataset

  • Present insights and analysis from course exercises
