Stables with Saber, Dubai
Stables with Saber
We're bringing the Stables with Saber series to Dubai.
This time, the format sharpens: two UAE regulated stablecoin-issuing banks will present their strategy: why they entered, how they're structuring reserves and compliance, and where they see distribution playing out over the next 12–18 months.
Stablecoins have quietly become the de facto settlement rail for cross-border remittance, faster and cheaper than correspondent banking, without the multi-day float and reconciliation overhead that legacy corridors carry. Remittance and payout companies are routing volume through stablecoins first and abstracting the crypto layer entirely from the end user, who just sees money arrive. Saber sits underneath that shift: we run the stablecoin settlement infrastructure that lets these companies move value across GCC, Southeast Asia, and India/INR corridors without having to build treasury, liquidity, and compliance rails themselves.
Following the presentations, we open the floor for a group discussion on the challenges and opportunities in the regulated stablecoin space. Topics will cover competitive dynamics, interoperability across issuers, banking rails vs. crypto-native rails, merchant and corporate adoption, and where the regulatory perimeter is still being drawn.
The session runs under Chatham House Rule : participants are free to use the information shared, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of speakers may be disclosed outside the room. This is deliberate: it's what lets us speak candidly about what we see happening on the ground which we probably wouldn't put on a public panel.
