​Speaker bios:

• ​Foo Wui Ngiap (胡伟业), CEO & Co-founder: Wui is a technical leader with over a decade of experience in the tech industry. Prior to Ethlas, Wui was the Head of Technology (Integrity, Mobility Engineering, and Grab Patent Office) at Grab, where he oversaw the company's engineering, data science, security, and machine learning teams. Wui has also led teams at companies such as Credit Suisse and Google, in a career spanning financial services, big tech, and startups. Wui holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

• ​Dean Xu, Head of Strategy: Dean leads the strategic direction of the company’s gaming vertical. His responsibilities include developing incentive structures, game design, and tokenomics for the launch of BSD Gambit, an economy centered around the concept of “Skill-Fi.” Prior to joining Ethlas, he worked as an economist and researcher at Grab and HBS Research. He holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a graduate degree from MIT.

• ​Aneirin Flynn, Head of Design & Creative Director: Aneirin oversees the end to end customer journey of a player within the Ethlas ecosystem, as well as the creative direction of all of Ethlas’ assets. Prior to Ethlas, he has led projects for TikTok (TikTok For Business APAC Launch), Singapore Tourism Board, UNESCO, and developed games for NCS (National Computing Systems). He also served as an officer in the special forces of Singapore’s Navy and attained a professional diploma in Leadership and Military Strategy from the Army Officers’ Advanced School prior to completing post-graduate studies in Innovation and Communications with Singapore Management University.
