​Le Salon Curioso is a space for conversation across cultures, languages, and perspectives.

​Inspired by the literary salons of the past and the work of Paulette Nardal and Jane Nardal, this series brings people together to explore cultural and societal questions beyond a US-centric lens.

​For this first session, we will discuss Je ne suis pas parisienne: Éloge de toutes les Françaises by Alice Pfeiffer—a sharp and thought-provoking critique of the myth of the Parisian woman through class, race, gender, and sexuality.
